I have found this series to help motivate students to play more! The songs are interesting and fun to play. The series does a good job of teaching the basics of theory and technique. While I do not use this series for all my students, the ones who are using it are doing well!

I am a big fan of this series of books. My eldest son's piano teacher started him on these and I find that each song develops something slightly different from the last and the songs themselves are usually interesting enough musically to keep the attention.

This series is both enjoyable and effective.
