{PRETITLE} Pattern and Design Coloring Book {POSTTITLE}

I've collected and colored in a lot of the 'grown-up' coloring books. This one is exceptional. The shapes are wonderful, the line weight(s) are great. The paper is great quality, nice and white to keep colors vivid. Designs range from fairly basic to very intricate. There are several in here which will take some serious time to complete.

Designs themselves have flowers, squares, angular, rounded, kaleidoscopic patterns. All well thought out. This book reminds me of my Ruth Heller books, and that is a compliment-and-a-half, believe me.

After all of these important features, the best one I've left for last -
THE PAGES ARE ONE-SIDED!!!!!!!!!!! Jenean, I'm a marker person, and you are my hero. I weep at the altar of your amazingness and eagerly await my next book of yours!

There is something almost meditative about coloring in a well-designed, conscientiously created coloring book. Jenean Morrison put a lot of research and care into making this the kind of book that SHE would want to color in. From varying the difficulty from easy, to challenging, to very challenging patterns and designs; to mixing up the line weights and making sure there are NO unclosed lines (a real pet-peeve for adult colorists) -- Jenean put the same passion and talent into creating this beautiful book that she puts into her fine art and her licensed designs.

Aside from how fun and relaxing it is to color this book, it is also just about the most affordable way to get 50 original art prints from a successful artist! Sure to appeal to fans of her Free Spirit Fabric designs, and fans of all stripes (so to speak) and ages, I think this book is just about perfect.

Way to go, Jenean!
