The cover image on this book is very indicative of the amazing photos one finds inside. It is impossible to see this gorgeous book and not pick it up to browse. I was a little disappointed in the text layout in comparison to the beautiful images, though. Some pages have 6 words (rather trite phrases in the middle of blank spreads -- the attribution/explanation for each is in an appendix at the end of the book, which was not immediately obvious and got old quickly), others had more like 300 words in tiny print, which seemed even smaller compared to the oversized photos.By A. It also would have been more useful to identify the breed of cat in a photo caption rather than alphabetically at the end of the book, which doesn't make it easy to identify them by photo rather than by name. But let's face it: we're not buying this book for the text, and the images will delight any person who is even remotely fond of felines or photography. A very worthwhile purchase.
